My sewing career started over thirty years ago.  Firstly at London fashion school then working in London as a sample machinist in a fashion house. 

In my twenties, I owned a factory in Hertfordshire supplying adult designer clothing to exclusive boutiques.

Then in my thirties after the birth of my daughter Harriett, I moved into childrenswear, which earned me a slot on the TV programme "This Morning" with Richard Madely and Judy Finnegan.  A selection of my unique childrenswear was shown from my cottage industry, "The Rag-Bag Clothing Company".

Over the years, I have taught at adult education centres and organised fashion shows to showcase my own and other designers work.

When my daughter took up ballet dancing I very soon turned my attentions to perfecting the classical ballet tutu.
